Jalandhar 17 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Diwali is around the corner, and as always, the young Mayorites were all set to put across the message of a brighter, safer and even happier Diwali this time through the theme walk-Glow of Happiness. To make their ‘silence heard’, the tiny tots of K.G. I and II were holding glow sticks, electric diyas and candles and torch lights along with banners and placards to appeal for a clean and safe Diwali. They lit candles along their way through Urban Estate phase I and surroundings. The highly motivated students pledged not to burn crackers and save the environment. The Vice Chairperson Ms. Neerza Mayor and the Principal Mr. J.S. Hundal appreciated the efforts of the students and stressed upon the exigency to sensitise people about the degrading environment and the urgency to restore it.
