CT Public School organizes seminar on Education

Jalandhar 18 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Teachers play a great role in the lives of the students in their care. Other than imparting education, teachers set the tone of their classrooms, build a warm environment, mentor and nurture students, become role models, and protect them. They are taught to look for signs of trouble in the students. A seminar on the role of teachers was held in CT Public School. Mr. Rampal Singh (DEO, Elementary Education) addressed the gathering. He was accompanied by Mr. Surjit Lal (District Guidance and Counsellor). S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) was also present on the occasion.
Mr. Rampal Singh (DEO, Elementary Education) said that teaching profession is one of the noblest professions whereby a student’s life is molded and shaped. The importance of teachers is mentioned in the ancient scriptures as well. It is the prime duty of the teachers to shape the destiny of the students and help them to tread on the path of progress. However the level of education has fallen in the past few years because of the callous attitude of some teachers and students. The teachers should understand their responsibility and teach wholeheartedly and help to transform the society.
Mrs. Suman Rana (Principal, CT Public School) gave the floral welcome to the guest. She appreciated their presence and for sharing their experiences with the teachers. S. Charanjit Singh Channi Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) said that teachers share their gift of teaching to countless students. He expressed his gratitude to all the teachers present on this occasion.
