Jalandhar 30 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar organized Science Achievers’ Day under DBT Star College Scheme. The Principal of KMV Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the diligent efforts of the meritorious students. She added that the parents play a very significant role in their daughters life. Madam Principal apprised the audience about the DBT Star College Scheme, its various activities and projects which lead to the development of scientific attitude in the budding scientists. Madam Principal Congratulated the Science Faculty for organizing the event. She also sought promise from the students that they will continue to do hard work and bring laurels to the institution. The coordinator of DBT Dr. Updesh Kaur congratulated the achievers. She said that hard work is the key to success. Success doesn’t come to those who run fast but to those who keep running and are always on the move. The Principal of KMV Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi gave away the pries to the meritorious students and those students who had participated in various inter college, Zonal Inter Zonal competitions and various other activities organized under DBT Star College Scheme. Around 60 students were awarded on this day. The formal vote of thanks was extended by Dr. Manju Sahni.
