Jalandhar 22 April (Jaswinder Azad)- 43rd Annual Prize Distribution function of 22nd April, 2017. S. Rana Gurjit Singh, Hon'ble Minister of Irrigation and Power, Punjab, was the chief guest of the function. The Chief Guest was welcomed by the President of the college Sh. Purushottam Lal Budhia and the Principal Dr. Kiran Arora and other dignitaries. The programme started with the invocation to Lord Ganesha and the lighting of the Holy Lamp. On this occasion 250 academic and general prizes were awarded to outstanding students. In all 155 shields were given to students excelling in various academic, sports and co-curicular activities. 40 Medals were given - including 17 gold medals & 23 silver medals. 98 merit holders of GNDU examination were also honoured on the occasion. The programme was marked by the presentation of a colourful cultural programme. Principal Dr. Kiran Arora addressed the audience and appraised the guests of the college achievements. Sh. Rana Gurjit Singh, Hon'ble State Minister addressed the prize winners. He congratulated the prize winners on their achievements and advised them to maintain the high standards set up by them and their alma mater. On this ocassion members of the managing committee were also present. Sh. Satish Dada and Sh. Kamal Budhia Ji graced the occasion. Sh. Vinod Dada, Joint Secretary , PCM S.D. College extended a Vote of Thanks. The function ended on a joyful note.
