Jalandhar 2 April (Jaswinder Azad)- CT Group has risen like a Blitzkrieg in last 20 years since its foundation in 1997, started from CT Public School at Maqsudan Campus to CT Shahpur Campus to now CT University at Ludhiana. The force behind the growth and success of the group is S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) whose journey was portrayed.A heartwarming play “Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai” was performed by the students of CT Institutions depicting the life struggles which entirely motivate everyone to overcome the obstacles of life in a most inspiring manner. The play also shows that in the process of achieving success, many times he faced defeat as well which took him in depression. But, his family and closed ones remained the binding force behind him. They always supported him to achieve more and more in his life. They always motivated him to work on to achieve the goals of his life, to fulfill his dream. He also gave delightful performance on the stage on “Jeena Isi Ka Naam hai” song which is really close to his heart. S. Charanjit Singh Channi said, “I really admire the every word of the song, which is quite inspirational and kept me going during my struggle days.” A documentary “Power of Dreams” on the life of S. Charanjit Singh Channi was also released during the event.
In his address, S. Charanjit Singh Channi said, “I am blessed that my family has always supported me in every thick and thin of my life. They have been my backbone.” He also appreciated the presence and existence of his family namely Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group), Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group), Ms. Tanika Singh. Mr. Harpreet Singh (Vice Chairman, CT Group), Ms. Seerat Channi, Mrs. Nancy Randhawa, Mr. William Randhawa, Baby Aryana, Ibadat and Ransher Singh Channi. Above all, he forgot not to express his gratitude towards the contribution of the members of the management, faculty and staff throughout these 20 years. He said, “CT Group has been monumental in offering quality education for the past two decades, be it at the school level or higher education, Not only creating professionals but leaders of the future. It is not because of One person but because of being as a team. The success goes to everyone, goes to every single person who have been associated with the group.”
In its 20th year of inception, CT Group now has taken another stride forward by establishment of a University ‘CTU’ in Ludhiana, in an attempt to carry forward its great education legacy with the underlying principal of offering education at affordable prices especially to the students from rural backdrop. He summed up with, “This is just the beginning, many more such successful events are here to come.” Earlier, there was the Bhangra and Skit performances by the students those thoroughly entertained the dignitaries. The grand event was attended by the Dignitaries and established names from different arenas.
