Jalandhar 30 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Navpreet Kaur, a student of B.A.(JMC)-4th Semester of the department of Journalism and Mass communication has made the institution proud by becoming Miss Punjab. She won this prestigious title in a contest held at Delhi by FBB Femina Miss India 2017. In this competition 24 models participated from different states of northern India. Eight models along Miss Navpreet Kaur were selected out of these 24 girls to compete on the biggest stage of FBB Femina Miss India 2017 to win the Dream Crown. After winning the title of Miss Punjab Navpreet Kaur will represent the whole Punjab at the Miss India stage. It is worth mentioning here that she was amongst the top 5 finalists of Femina Miss India 2016. Hailing from a rural background she is becoming a source of motivation for all those young girls who are working hard to fulfill their dreams. Principal KMV Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Navpreet kaur for her achievement and blessed her for her better future.
