A book concerning the overseas Punjabi Literature was released at Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar 3 March (Jaswinder Azad)- A book concerning the overseas Punjabi Literature was released at Lyallpur Khalsa College today. This book has been edited and compiled by Dr. Sukhdev Singh Nagra Coordinator, Center for Migration Studies, Lyallpur Khalsa College. Speaking about the book, Honorable Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra said that the college and its various research centers have contributed immensely to the field of Punjabi Literature and Literary studies. He also lauded the efforts of the Center for Migration Studies for organizing various literary programs ensuring the interaction of Overseas Punjabi writers and students of the college. Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar, Head, PG Department of Punjabi also highlighted the growing hemisphere of the overseas Punjabi literature and emphasized its importance for the students of Punjabi literature. Editor of the book, Dr. Sukhdev Singh Nagra recalled the hard work behind the compilation of this book and expressed his gratitude to the College Governing Council and Principal Dr. GS Samra. The book release program was also witnessed by the presence of Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Head, PG Department of English, Charan Singh, Prof. Surinder Mand, Prof. Harjinder Singh Sekhon, Prof. Sukhbir Singh, Prof. Kuldip Sodhi, Prof. Manjinder Singh Johal and students of the Department.
