Jalandhar 7 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Under the aegis of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust – Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town, Loharan and Cantt. Jandiala Road celebrated World Health Day. A special assembly was organised where the students took an oath to take care of their health and “Say No to Junk Food”. Importance of Healthy food was explained to them. The students were given tips to stay healthy and importance of exercise to keep fit was also emphasized. The children of class I to VI wrote their views on”Health is Wealth.” The students of class VII to IX wrote article on “Live Healthy, Live Long!” During assembly a speech was delivered on Health and Hygiene. The Director Principal of the School- Mr. Dheeraj Banati explained the importance of World Health Day. The Medical Secretary of the Trust- Dr. Chander Bowry mentioned that medical camps will be organised to create awareness among students regarding health issues.
