CT Group organised "Passion et Cuisine" workshop

  • CTIHM conducted the LIVE Pasta and Pizza making workshop
  • Renowned Chef, Mr. Naman from Chandigarh  showed his culinary skills
Jalandhar 22 July (Gurkirat Singh)- CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) under the patronage of CT Group of Institutions organized an event "Passion et Cuisine." It was a workshop on making of Pizza and Pasta by Renowned Chef Naman from Chandigarh. The event was attended by S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group), Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group) and Dr. Bharat Kapoor (Director, CTIHM) along with the members of the faculty, staff and specially the students. The aim of the workshop was to show the culinary skills of making Pizza and Pasta to the students. It was a LIVE workshop as students asked their queries, noted down every pro and con and the essential points to cook best dish. Chef Naman Arora said the Pizza and Pasta are liked by youngsters a lot. He said, “The cooking process of them is easy but to make them in different styles in bit tricky. The presentation is something which needs to be eye catching which I have tried to teach students as well.” He prepared Red Sauce, White Sauce, Mix, Vegetable Pizza, Pan Pizza, Onion Pizza, Mushroom Pizza and others during the LIVE workshop. Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group) appreciated the presentation given by Chef Naman with such amazing and wonderful delicacies to relish. He said that such event are important for our students as they learn, they try and make able to explore more. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group) said, “CT Group intend that our students of Hotel Management must be having the practical touch of knowledge. While stepping in the hotel Industry they may not confront any sort of problem. Apart from this, the experience gained here would also diffuse the skills of self employability & entrepreneurship among them.”
