Jalandhar 24 August (Gurkirat Singh)- Gurwinder Singh, a student of BA Semester 1st, Lyallpur Khalsa College has earned laurels for himself and the college by bagging first position in the State Level Turban Competition held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated and duly honored the victorious student while also highlighting the importance of Turban in Punjabi History and Culture, he recalled the various sacrifices made for the attainment of the right to support turbans. Dr. GS Samra also stressed the need to keep up the immense pride in supporting a turban.
