Jalandhar 18 August (Jaswinder Azad)- To explore the latent talent of its young scholars, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar organized a mega event in the form of ‘Talent Hunt’. The Chief Guest Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi were accorded floral felicitations on this occasion. The programme comprised competitions in various categories related to Dramatics, Music, Dance, Literary item etc. Students from all streams, with full zeal and enthusiasm, exhibited their myriad skills in items like Skit, Choreography, Bhangra as group performance. Solo performances were witnessed in items like Modelling, Dance, Fancy Dress, Quiz, Debate etc. While congratulating the prize winners in various categories, Madam Principal stressed upon the need of such programmes which extend learning beyond class rooms and provide platform to students to explore as well as showcase their talent.
The college Principal Prof. Atima Sharma reiterated the institution’s commitment to make consistent efforts for personality development of each student through development of right skills and holistic education. In her address to the students Madam Principal stressed upon the need of good communication skills confidence and presence of mind while one performs on the stage.
