Jalandhar 9 October (Jaswinder Azad)- The U-19 and U-14 boys teams of Innocent Hearts G.M.T. gave a stellar performance in the C.B.S.E. Cluster Table Tennis competition with the U-19 winning the gold and U-14 team the silver medal. In addition Kshitij also won a gold medal in the U-19 singles competition. The players in the U-19 team are, Kshitij Narang, Bhavya Chopra, Bhavjot Singh and Akash Bahri. The team has made their alma mater proud after sustained hard work to win the gold medal. They have been further selected for the national level competition. The teams in the U-19 category had come from many states. The players in the U-14 category are, Keshav Kohli, Hardik, Jayesh and Tanish who secured the second position to win the silver medal after regular practice. Director Principal Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated the winner students and wished them success in the national level competition. He also congratulated the coaches, Tilak Raj, Kanika and H.O.D. Sports, Sanjeev Bhardwaj. The U-19 team also won a number of prizes in the Sahodaya competition bringing honour to the school. Dr. Anup Bowry, Academic Secretary of The Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust inspired the students and congratulated them on their victory.
