Jalandhar 29 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, student welfare has been felicitated by award of excellence for Exemplary Social Service by Lion's Club. This award is in recognition of her dedicated and unflinching support rendered to various social and environmental issues. She was given the honour by Lion's Club President, Mr. Kawaljit Singh, Mr. Mann Singh, Dr. Jaswant Rai, Makkan Singh and Mr Ashwani Sehgal members Lions Club and KMV Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi. Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Dr. Madhumeet and averred that Dr. Madhumeet has been fervently serving society by working in close association with NGO's like Lions Club, Dastak, Goonj, Alfa Mahendru Foundation, FOGSI, NARCHI, etc. It is for this reason that she has often been felicitated and awarded. Some being Mother Teresa awarded for Exemplary Social Service, Best Teacher Award by Union Bank of India, Shiksha Rattan Purskar, Yuva Puraskar, Bhartiya Bhasha Parishad, Kolkata among others. Dr. Madhumeet felt beholder for this honour and has motivated her to work with doubled zeal and commitment.
