Jalandhar 10 November (Gurkirat Singh)- Innocent Hearts School spread the message of Love and brotherhood in the extravaganza Euphoria-2017 with the theme – “Ibaadat”. In addition to the entertainment activities the students are made to realize the importance of education and discipline through the enjoyment and activities while celebrating the event “Euphoria-2017. The students of Innocent Hearts - G.M.T., Loharan and C.J.R. took part in the event. The Chief Guest for the fiesta was Mr. Atul Nanda the Advocate General Punjab while the Guest of Honour was Mrs. Rashmi Vij- Principal -Police D.A.V. School. The guests were welcomed by Dr. Anup - Academic Secretary and Dr. Chander – Finance Secretary of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust. The program was initiated by the release of balloons as a symbol of peace by the Chief Guest. On the occasion eminent personalities of the city were present. Sh. P. K. Sinha, Commissioner Police, sh. Varinder Kumar Sharma DC, Sh. Rajiv Verma including many others. ADC Jasbir Singh appreciated the efforts. Sh Atul Nanda praised teachers and students alike to put up such a wonderful show. The guests were welcomed by an energetic yet graceful fusion dance including western and classical forms. This was followed by choreography based on the theme “Ibaadat” which included many devotional dances including Gatka and the school song too. Time stood still by the exquisite presentation of feelings by the students. The guests were honoured by Dr. Anup Bowry and Dr. Chander Bowry with mementos. Tree plantation was also done on this occasion. A number of stalls were put up for the enjoyment of the students. The students of the Science Club displayed models of science related devices. The Eco- Club displayed models related to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan showing innovative ideas employed in regions of India. Different Coloured dustbins were installed. The Heritage Club displayed Punjabi culture in various forms. Competitions of Fancy dress, Solo Dance, Ramp walk, colouring and cooking competitions were held. Game Zone, Kids Zone and Food Mart were set up to give the students a chance to have fun and frolic along with a little nutrition. Various games were held for the entertainment of the kids. The highlight of the evening was the Raffle Draw where many found their dream coming true by winning prizes. The RJ of FM entertained all while prizes were given for all competitions and the judges of various competitions were honoured. Game Zone became the centre of attraction. The fiesta Euphoria- 2017 came out as a grand success.
