Jalandhar 24 December (Jaswinder Azad)- HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized a lecture on the topic “Learning of Mathematics with new technologies” under Career Advancement Lecture Series. The resource person was Mr. D.S. Chadha, Asso. Prof., Deptt. of Mathematics from Doaba College, Jalandhar. Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal welcomed him. During his lecture, he told the students about different branches of Mathematics like Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, etc. in a gripping manner. He also explained tough concepts of Mathematics in a simplest way. Students showed keen interest & enjoyed learning simple techniques of Mathematical calculations. He also told the students about Vedic Mathematics techniques & softwares used for various concepts of Maths. This lecture was useful not only to enhance the knowledge of the students, moreover their interest in Mathematics. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of coordinator & faculty for conducting lecture series useful for holistic growth of students. Stage was conducted by Ms. Gagan, Jt. Head Girl of the School.
