Jalandhar 27 December (Gurkirat Singh)- NSS Camp was inaugurated at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The main guest of the inauguration was Dr. Lakhbir Singh, President NGO ‘PAHAL’. Programme Officers Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr. Anjana Bhatia gave a floral welcome to Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and Dr. Lakhbir Singh. The programme started with DAV Gaan. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen encouraged NSS Volunteers and follow NSS motive – Not we, but you, whole heartedly. Chief Guest Dr. Lakhbir Singh gave a lecture on motivation towards selfless service through NSS. Programme Officer Mrs. Veena Arora encouraged the students to follow discipline throughout the camp and even in life. Dr. Anjana Bhatia discussed in detail about how to make our life different. Asstt. Programme Officers Mrs. Alka Sharma, Ms. Harmanu Paul and Ms. Harmanpreet discussed about the activities of the camp. NSS volunteers were also divided into four houses – Mata Gujri House tagged with yellow colour, Maharani Lakshmi Bai house tagged with Green Colour, Mother Teresa house tagged with Pink colour and Patel house tagged with White colour. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen gave best wishes for the camp.
