Jalandhar 28 January (Jaswinder Azad)- Hindu Kanya College organized its two days Annual Gala fete. The Chief Guest, Sh. Vinod Gupta inaugurated the fete by releasing the colorful balloons in the air. As soon as fete was declared opened by the Chief Guest excitement was uncontrolled .Students swarmed all over trying their luck at various stalls. The whole environment was full of activities, games. They played games, enjoyed swings, dance, tambola and musical chair. The nicely decorated stalls offered a wide range of delicious eatables. Baby show was also another attraction of the day.
Exhibitions on hand made articles and dresses by Department of Fashion Designing and Punjabi Culture exhibition organized by the departments of Punjabi and History add charm to over-all ambience of the day. One day before the fete, various competitions were held to adjudge the talent of the students like Radio Jockey ,News Reading ,Caption Writing, Photography, Mehndi, Nail Art, Face Painting, E-drawing ,Salad making etc.
Principal Dr Archna Garg said, such events play a vital role in bringing a break from the monotony. The students and faculty enjoyed very much. The event was concluded with a lucky draw. President Sh.Tilak Raj Aggarwal and Principal Dr.Archna Garg gave away the prizes to the winners of the lucky draw .The members of Managing Committee namely Ashwani Aggarwal ,Mrs. Anita Aggarwal, Sh.Bhimsen Aggarwal, Sh.Haribudh Singh Bawa, Sh.Sudarshan Sharma were also present on this occasion.
