Jalandhar 27 March (Jaswinder Azad)- To aware the staff members and the PG Students undertaking various kind of research activities, PG Department of C.S & I.T organised a seminar on significance of Intellectual Property Rights. The resource person of the seminar was Rahul Chopra (Assistant Manager, Intellectual Property Rights, who was extended floral welcome by Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, Dr. Manohar Singh (Dean Administration Head of Department) & Dr. Baldev Singh, Addressing the gathering of staff members from various Departments and PG Students, the resource person threw light on the various aspects of the Intellectual Property rights, Patents, copyrights. He also educated about the benefits of registration of research work and clarified the students about their queries. Dr. Samra welcomed the guest and explained about importance of research in the current educational scenario. He encouraged the faculty members to contribute more in the field of research as it automatically improves the level of learning as well as teaching. Dr. Manohar Singh presented vote of thanks and motivated the staff members and students to ensure maximum participation in various types of seminars, conferences, symposium etc organized by various universities and colleges. Prof. Sandeep Bassi, Dr Baldev Singh, Dr. Jaspal Singh, Dr. Balwinder Singh were also present.
