Jalandhar 1 February (Gurkirat Singh)- Every woman has the power to change the world by her determination and strength. With these words, Ms. Anjali Dada, President, Soch Educational Society delivered a motivational talk under She Walks She Talks series at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan. These series were initiated by Mrs. Jasmine Toor Bhatara, followed by Ms. Canada India Tanpreet Parmar and Dr. Maninder Minhas, Dr. Sukriti Sharma and now Ms. Anjali became the part of fifth motivational talk. Ms. Anjali shared her personal experiences and discussed the journey of running an NGO for children with autism. She said, “I always wanted to contribute to the society for good. I believe serving children and growing them by inculcating moral values is one of the best social works that one can do. Hence, I decided to step out of my home and start an NGO. I started in a garage in 2008 with SOCH and have worked steadfastly in the past years to create know how and awareness and now I am running a 5 room training center providing interventions and vocational training. I have trained 80-90 families across the state in autism and some even from Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.” While speaking at length, she encouraged female students to come out of their comfort zones and contribute to the society for good as it adds to one’s karmic account. She later enlightened students on the very common issue of feeling hesitant in coming out in the society and talking to a stranger and shared various tips of becoming bold and taking decisions wisely. Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Director, CT Maqsduan Campus, appreciated the presence of Ms. Anjali Dada for sharing her focused journey and wise thoughts with the students.
