Jalandhar 1 February (Gurkirat Singh)- A Live telecast of Union Budget 2018 was organized for the students of Economics and Commerce by the Economics Forum of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. The students were acquainted with the classifications and new changes of the Budget. Students were demonstrated that any country’s development entirely depends on its financial sphere and Budget 2018 has brought significant changes into Tax Slabs, Petrol and Diesel Prices, GST etc. In this interactive session, the queries of students were also replied by the experienced faculty of the Department of Economics. Principal Dr. Sucharita shared her views that such activities give practical exposure to the students and acquaint them with the latest developments being introduced in their country. She hoped that the new Budget would put Indian Economy on the fastest track by overcoming the financial obstacles of the nation.
