Fourth Day of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar’s Design Week

Jalandhar 26 February (Jaswinder Azad)- Fourth Day of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar’s Design Week opened the horizon of creativity by shaping the ideas of youngsters into impressive designs. Pearls of wisdom shared by Resource Persons in day 2 and 3 paved the way to transform the abstract ideas into stimulating arts. MR. RENÉ PIJNENBURG, MS. FLEUR SWILDENS and MR. GÉ SMIT Sr Art Director / Designer / Creative Thinker / Educationist from Netherlands approved the proposals of the students and motivated them to work in the direction of eliminating the social issues through their artistry. Through their projects students would interrogate the social evils by posing what, why, how and for who question tags which would serve to explain the causes and effects of burning issues of the society.  The young artists of the College would work in the direction of establishing their designs as prototype and brand along with taking a serene feedback from the industry to know the market-value of their products. After the completion of their works, students would display them through banners, short movies or any exhibition.
Principal Dr. Sucharita blessed the participants of the workshop so that their works would not only leave an impression on the minds of audience but would also serve to discourage the infectious issues of the society.  She felt hopeful to see the dedication of youngsters to learn a great deal in polishing their skills which would yield fruitful results in their careers.
