Jalandhar 27 March (Jaswinder Azad)- A team of doctors namely Dr. Yogesh Sachdeva , AMO and Dr. Kamal Sachdeva from the Civil Hospital, Jalandhar conducted a seminar for the staff of Innocent Hearts to enable them to take an active part in the vaccination drive against measles and rubella being conducted under the “National Health Mission” by the ‘Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’. The doctors gave complete knowledge on the nature of the diseases and the necessity of having the vaccination through a power point presentation. They explained that this vaccination can be administered from the age of 09 months upto the age of fifteen years and can save the children of the country from a number of diseases very easily. The awareness drive enabled the teachers and other staff of the institution to be conscious of the aims of the drive and to take the message to the community of which they are a part. The teachers were encouraged to inspire the parents and guardians of the children to take part in this national program and get their wards vaccinated. On this occasion Director Principal thanked the visiting doctors and assured them that the school would cooperate whole heartedly in the drive to make it a success.
