Fourth Day of Inspire Camp Witnessed Illuminating and Interactive Sessions at KMV

Jalandhar 2 February (Gurkirat Singh)- On the fourth  day of 8th five-day INSPIRE Camp at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya - The Heritage and Autonomous  Institutuion, Jalandhar. Dr.Aneesh Dua (Dept. of Zoology, G.N.D.U, Amritsar) delivered a talk on ‘Journey So Far and the Possibilities in the Subject of Zoology’. Dr.Dua talked in detail about the avenues in Zoology and the changes taking place in the field. He talked about wet lands, rivers and also spoke at length about discoveries and inventions in the field of Zoology. Dr. A.S. Ahluwalia (Department of Botany, PU) delivered a talk on 'Global warming and Climate Change’. He spoke at length about the rising sea level, green house effect and the problem of global warming. He explained paddy straws burning is a major issue of global warming. After this discourse various activities were organized for the students- walk and learn activity was organized in botanical garden and museum, hands on experiments were conducted in Zoology lab by Mrs.Sadhna Tandon. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the enthusiastic participation of Interns in the camp. She also extended her gratitude towards the speakers.
