Baisakhi celebration at Innocent Hearts

Jalandhar 12 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Baisakhi, a long established harvest festival was celebrated with all pomp, fervour and feasting at all the branches of Innocent Hearts i.e. Green Model Town, Loharan, CJR & Royal World, Pathankot Road. Tiny toddlers from pre-primary wing of Innokids participated in it head over heels. Young kids made a vital part of various activities related to Punjabi culture. A scene from a village was depicted to display rich Punjabi heritage. To commemorate the formation of Khalsa Panth, four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji were personified. The depiction of Jalianwala Bagh defining the massacre upheld the historical significance of the day. Children recited poems related to the festival. Presentation of songs & Bhangara & Giddha & Dance mesmerized the audience. Incharge of Innokids enlightened the children with the significance of the day. Director Principal Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated the children on this auspicious occasion and inspired them to be consistently attached to their rich heritage. Vice-Principal Mrs. Sharmila Nakara also shared with the children that Baisakhi is a festival which is celebrated with reverence, music & dance & its celebration strengthens bonding between India and the rest of the world.
