Jalandhar 25 April (Gurkirat Singh)- A farewell party for the session 2017-18 was organized by the students of PG Department of English to the outgoing students of M.A English final semester at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar.Students presented various entertainment laden activities such as modelling, dance, singing and fun games where in Pushpanshoo and Veronica were adjudged as Mr. and Miss ‘Farewell’ respectively while Rajnish Kaur was honoured as the ‘Student of the Year’. Winners of these events were presented with various bouquets and gifts. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated and blessed the outgoing students with his presence and words of wisdom. Continuing the yearly tradition, meritorious students from each semester were honoured for their overall performances. Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Head, PG Department Of English along with the entire faculty members of the department duly witnessed the colorful proceedings and wished good luck to the beneficiaries of the Farewell Party.
