Jalandhar 10 April (Jaswinder Azad)- North India’s prestigious educational institution Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar awarded the needy and brilliant students with the scholarship of 50,000. Sardarni Balbir Kaur, President of College Governing Council along with Dr G.S.Samra, Principal, Sardar Tarsem Singh Pawar, Secretary of Jatt Sikh Council, S. Jaspal Singh Warraich, Founder Member, S. Jagdeep Singh Shergill, S. Rajbir Singh Gill, S. Parminder Singh Hayer and S. Sarabjot Singh Laali granted the cheques of scholarship to the bright students namely Satwinder Singh, Simarpreet Kaur, Gurpreet Singh, Rajdeep Kaur, Gurkanwal Kaur, Arinder Singh, Jasdeep Kaur, Rajdeep Kaur, Ravinderpreet Kaur and Jyotpreet Kaur. The first cheque of 5,000 has been given to the students by Er. H.S.Shekhon (Canada). Principal, Dr.Samra, reiterated that the Jatt Sikh Council is doing such a commendable effort to promote the needy and bright students by enabling them to get education and to get laurels in academic and professional life. The stage was conducted by Prof. Gopal Singh Buttar, Head P.G Dept of Punjabi. Dr.Manohar Singh, Dean Administration, Dr. Balwinder Singh Chahal, Dr.Santokh Singh and Dr.Raju Sharma were present on the occasion.
