Jalandhar 3 May (Jaswinder Azad)- Four students from Department of Multimedia VIII Semester of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar named Janmeet Singh, Harish Singh, Tushar Jagota & Vipendeep directed a short film named "The Time Spinner" which was sent for participation on the behalf of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar for "8th Dada Saheb Phalke National Film Festival 18' held at New Delhi.
"The Time Spinner" was selected in final official selection of 195 films out of more than 1800 films nominated for "The Best Short Film" that were submitted from across the Globe.
The results for the same were announced on 30th April 2018 and the film bagged the BEST VFX (Special Effects) Award.
Principal Dr. Sucharita congratulated the proud winners and added that it really feels good to see our students rising and it makes college proud of them. The students gave credit to Principal Madam for always being so supportive and for giving them the opportunities to polish their skills which ultimately embarked the new creative skills into them.
