HMV students visited Red Fort

Jalandhar 29 June (Gurkirat Singh)- A group of students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya visited Red Fort at New Delhi under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen.  Dean Dr. Ekta Khosla and Dr. Rajiv Kumar accompanied them. The students visited Red Fort and knew about the most beautiful and innovatively designed historical monument of India. The students came to know that it is designed and built by the highly skilled architectures. This visit was planned so as to impart some knowledge to the students about the historical place and monument. The students should know about Red Fort which is also selected as one of the World Heritage Site in 2007 by UNESCO. The students also saw Diwan-e-Khas, Diwan-e-Aam and big museum inside Red Fort. The students of Mass Communication and Video Production department also clicked beautiful pictures of World Heritage site with their cameras. They also visited the famous Chandni Chowk market in front of Red Fort. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the teachers and said that visit to historical places should be an important part of curriculum of the students. It is a regular feature in college to organise such educational visits.
