Jalandhar 3 July (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya the Heritage and autonomous institution, Jalandhar aspires to create socially product women a fire-fighting Demo was given in NCC Training Camp being seen by 2 Pb.(G), Bn NCC Jalandhar. Around 400 cadets from 19 diferent institutions witnessed how to handle a big fire accident. Sub Office Sh.Rakesh Arora, D.O. Officer Sh. Satnam Singh (Fire-Man) Sh.Sahil, Sh.Balwinder Singh & Sh.Bikram Jeet Singh Gill brought all the fire-fighting equipment in their (fire-brigade). The children were delighted to see how they could easily minimize loss to human-life and property by adopting certain simple measures like calling for help, cutting oxygen supply, cutting the fuel supply to dire etc. It was overall a very practical and productive seassion. Col.Jasbir Singh thanked the party of fire-fighting men and observed that cadets had gained a lot of useful information from them. Principal, Prof. Dr.Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the camp people for having organized such a useful demonstration which might help avert many major tragedies.
