Jalandhar 13 July (Jaswinder Azad)- HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized a Poster Making competition on the occasion of World Population Day. Students of SSC I and SSC II participated in Poster Making competition. Students made beautiful posters on increasing population of the world and its effects. The judgement of Posters was done by Mrs. Rama Sharma, HOD Mass Communication and Dr. Nidhi Bal, Asstt. Prof. in Hindi. Aina of SSC II Commerce and Ekta of SSC I Commerce got first prize, Gitanjali of SSC I Commerce got second prize and Ridhi of SSC I Arts got third prize. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal gave certificates to the students. Principal Prof. Dr.(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that increasing population is a serious issue and the students have very intelligently portrayed this problem through their posters. Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal also motivated the students for showing their creativity. Ms. Sukriti Sharma of Economics Deptt. was also present.
