Jalandhar 25 August (Gurkirat Singh)- It was a day when our young DIPSIANS turned into little artisans. Rakhi making competitionwas held at DIPS UE-1 ,Jalandhar on 25 August 2018 in the school premises. With creativity and colours – red, yellow and green. The auspicious day of RakshaBandhan was celebrated by organizing Rakhi making competition for classes I to X. The children joined in the celebration, which was aimed at strengthening the bond of love and to instill the virtues of love and harmony among the young, growing DIPSIANS. The competition saw a number of creative and colourful rachis being made by the students. The rachis that were made were an enviable lot and a fusion of modern with traditional styles was seen. The competition was judged by Principal mam Ms. Neelu Bawa on the basis of originality. The first place was bagged by the students of Class IX, the second place went to class VIII and the third place was bagged by class VI.
