Jalandhar 27 August (Jaswinder Azad)- An expert talk on “Tuberculosis- Symptoms and Treatment” was organised at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus. The resource person was Dr. Sudesh Chaudhary, TB & Chest Diseases Specialist. The objective of talk was to enhance awareness about Tuberculosis among the students of north east. Dr. Chaudhary explained that Tuberculosis is caused by bacteria Mycobacterium and it should be treated properly for its cure. He illustrated various symptoms of the disease which should not be ignored. He further explained the proper line of treatment should be given to the patients suffering from tuberculosis. He emphasized that this disease is 100% curable and should not be afraid off. The students took keen interest during the session and raised various questions during question answer session after the talk. Er. Anurag Sharma, Vice Principal CTITR, also motivated the students to take proper care of their health and contact physician for any kind of problem. Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director conveyed thanks to Dr. Sudesh Chaudhary for such a valuable session on disease. She also stated that ratio of tuberculosis in Punjab is very less as compared to other states.
