Jalandhar 30 August (Gurkirat Singh)- Department of Design of Apeejay College of Fine Arts organised a one day workshop on the topic Fun with History. The students of fashion also study the history of fashion and its evolution and growth over the centuries. In the process of performing this activity, the students were divided into different groups representing different centuries. Divided in this way, the students attired themselves in the same dress and hairstyle of the respective centuries of the past like 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s. Asst. Professor Shubham Jain told the gathering that studying history is otherwise boring but such a 'fun with history' activity makes history interesting and easy to learn. Principal Dr Sucharita appreciated the novelty and thanked the faculty members of the Design Department for a creative enlivenment of history.
