Jalandhar 13 August (Jaswinder Azad)- The Department of Design of Apeejay College of Fine Arts organized a Guest Lecture on Green Buildings, a nascent concept in modern Architecture. Ar. Jit Kumar Gupta, Member Indian Green Buildings Council, Ar. Manmohan Khanna, Chairman Indian Institute of Interior Designers, Ar. Shruti Kapur, CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur were the keynote speakers of the same. Manmohan Khanna posted the gathering with the latest information on design plans, new materials, cost friendly projects etc. Jit Kumar Gupta enlightened the students about green buildings, a development in eco-friendly architecture. The lecture meant to create awareness about the issues of environmental importance, crying for attention. Principal Dr Sucharita thanked the keynote speakers and lauded the effort of the department.
