Jalandhar 14 August (Jaswinder Azad)- To celebrate Independence Day with unprecedented patriotic fervour, a Poster Making Competition was organized at HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, benign support of Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal and the direction of Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Pol. Sc. Deptt. On this occasion, students of SSC I and SSC II exhibited their patriotic feelings and love for their country through colourful posters. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students and reminded the students about the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters. She further added that it is the moral duty of every citizen to serve the nation with heart, mind and soul. The competition was judged by Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Fine Arts Deptt., Ms. Anuradha Thakur, Hindi Deptt., Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, English Deptt. Km. Tania Khurana of SSC I Arts got first position, Km. Jaspreet Kaur of SSC I Arts got second position and Km. Sarabjeet Kaur of SSC II Arts, Km. Loveleen Kaur, SSC I Arts got third position. The event ended by reciting the national anthem.
