Jalandhar 4 September (Gurkirat Singh)- Department of Fashion Design, CT Group of Institutions organized a workshop on modern techniques in stitching and embroidery work. The resource person for the workshop was Rohan Jain, Manager Sales from USHA International Limited accompanied by Vinay Gupta, Manager Sales, Shahjeet Khan and Rajinder Kumar, Sales Executive. They discussed about the new series of company’s Janome Dream Stitch machine which has 120 different types of stitches pattern that can be done on different types of fabrics. Dr Bharat Kapoor, Director CTIHM told the students that learning and implementing new techniques makes the student industry ready and a fashion student must be updated with latest techniques in fashion industry. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions also motivated the students and briefed them about the importance of these workshops in sharpening their skills.
