Jalandhar 26 April (Bureau)- Dr A.S Brar, Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar has appointed Dr Namarta Joshi, Associate Professor as Head of the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Jalandhar. Dr Joshi has been serving the department of Journalism since 1998. She has been awarded “Navkiran Award” by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India in the year 2013. She has various other achievements to her credit and also considered as dedicated teacher in the department. Prof. Kamlesh Singh Duggal, Professor with the department and former Head along with other staff members congratulated her for this accomplishment and extended good wishes for her future endeavors. On this occasion, Dr Ranbir Singh, Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Punjab Technical University, Dr Charan Kamal Walia, Mr. Roobal Kanozia, Ms Savita and other staff members from the department were also present.
