Jalandhar 22 May (Jaswinder Azad)- National Seminar on the Relevance of Swami Vivekananda' sthoughts in the contemporary times was organised by Swami Vivekananda studies Centre of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar. Shri. C.S. Talwar, Ex Commissioner, Jalandhar was the Chief Guest and Dr. Ashutosh Angris , HOD, Dept of Sanskrit of S,D, College of Ambala was the Keynote Speaker. Retired Prof of PCM S.D. Colelge for Women, Jal Mrs. Sarla Bhardwaj was the Resource Person, to deliver lectures on Swamiji and mentioned that such a magnanimous personality of Swami Vivekananda and hi sthoughts were not only inspired. Our youth is in the grip of sufferings of social evils. Before this Principal Dr. Kiran Arora welcomed the guests and Associate Prof. Tripta Handa read the introductory note that UGC has sanctioned the chair under EPOCH Making Social Thinkers. Our students should aware about humanistic thoughts of swamiji. Dr. Neena Mittal read the vote of thanks and conduct the stage. About 65 papers were presented and a journal Jagrirti was released on the occasion.
