Jalandhar 1 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, the 130 year old pioneer institution of women education in northern India, started a summer camp for the girls students from KMV and outside to enable the students have an experience of fun-filled learning during the summer break. During this 15 days camp from June, 1st to 15th 2016, the students will be given training in basic skills of Spoken English, Cosmetology, Computers, Cooking, Dancing etc. Mrs. Seema Jain and Mrs. Parminder Kaur are programme director of the camp. Mrs. Seema Jain addressing the students highlighted the programme schedule and the objective of the camp. She emphasised that such programmes instil a sense of confidence and make the girls self-reliant. On the first day, the resource persons were Mrs. Gorvi for Spoken English and Mrs. Anita for Cosmetology. Ms. Geetika, Ms. Amandeep, Ms. Shalu, Ms. Sukhdeep & Ms. Jasdeep were present on the occasion.
