Jalandhar 25 July (Jaswinder Azad)- Monika, a student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, who secured 1st position in IIth semester in University exams of MA-Geography by getting 660 marks out of 800. Sanya Mehta bagged 2nd position by getting 626 out of 800 in the same exams. In a press release, the Principal of the College Dr. G.S. Samra gave this information adding that Lyallpur Khalsa College is the only college in Doaba region to offer MA Geography and is the first choice of the students because of its excellent teaching and impressive results in university exams. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Prof. Jasbir Singh Rana, Head Department of Geography and Dr. Raju Sharma HOD Physiotherapy were also present in this occasion.
