KMV Student Bags Ist Position in BCA

Jalandhar 5 July (Jaswinder Azad)- The students of P.G. Department of Computer Science & Applications, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya have again brought laurels for the institution by continuing their rich legacy.Four students of this Heritage institution have secured their positions in the merit list of the BCA (Bachelor in Computer Applications) Sem VI results declared by GNDU (Guru Nanak Dev University), 2016. Jyoti D/o Sh. Raj Kumar and Smt. Shanti bagged TOP (1st ) position by securing 1828 marks out of 2300. Sakshi D/o Sh. Krishan Gopal secured 6th position and achieved 1779 marks out of 2300. Following the same foot steps, Satinderjit Kaur D/o Nardtam Singh  got 13th position and secured 1745 marks. Similarly Amanpreet Kaur D/o Satpal Singh  scored 1728 marks attaining 17th position in the University merit list. The overall result of the BCA, 2016 has been marvellous with majority students clearing the degree with distinctions.
Principal Madam Dr. Mrs. Atima Sharma Dwivedi was happy for the overall result and congratulated the meritorious students of BCA. She also applauded the efforts of the  Department of Computer Science & Applications and wished the students for their brilliant future ahead. Principal Madam also motivated the students to continue their hard work thereby remembering the qualities inculcated in them by their Prestigious Heritage institution Kanya Maha Vidyalaya.
