Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar celebrated the festival of Diwali

Jalandhar 22 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Continuing its yearly trend of service in social field, the staff and students of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar celebrated the festival of Diwali at Guru Nanak Orphanage Budhiana where in the staff and students of the college shared sweets and fruits with the children of the orphanage. In his address, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra stressed the obligation for every individual to rise above boundaries and celebrate such occasions with the underprivileged souls of our society especially children and aged people. Dr. Tarsem Singh, in-charge of the Centre for Youth Affairs informed that the college staff and students actively participated in this cause by contributing heavily for the products shared during this visit. Members off the club namely Dr. Charanjit Singh, Dr. Dinkar Sharma, Prof. Ubique, Prof. Gagandeep Singh and Prof. Ratnaakar Maan also contributed to this cause.
