Jalandhar 12 August (Jaswinder Azad)- On the 70th Glorious Years of Indian Independence, CT Group of Institutions pledges for “Freedom from Fear” with its students at its Shahpur Campus. The event was interspersed with music and patriotic songs and a Play based on the Bhagat Singh which created an aura of nationalism among the students. It was a rich learning experience for the students who cherished the values of freedom and patriotism. More than 2000 students gathered and raised the National Flag at the event.
The event was inaugurated by Ms. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions), Mr. Paarth Ashok Narang (Life Coach & Motivational Speaker) and Mr. Navdeep S. Thind (Dean, Academics, CT Group of Institutions) in the presence of other members of the management, faculty, staff and students.
Mr. Paarth Ashok Narang (Life Coach & Motivational Speaker) shared his life struggle; he is a qualified pilot but is into professional speaking owing to his passion and vision to transform lives! He owes a lot of his skill to the adverse times he had during a very young age – from being financially broke to being confined to bed owing to prolonged injury. He used real life examples and stories to enlighten the students and ensured that he touched their lives to the core. The team from Sanjay Karate School inspired and motivated the students about Self Defense. The team of their trained professionals showed some easy but useful techniques to the students. They also taught few of the techniques to them.
The mesmerizing Play performed by our students from the Department of Cultural Affairs and Dance performance touched every soul sitting in the auditorium. The play depicted the life struggle of Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s life. The vote of Thanks was given by Ms. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions), she said, “Everyone should respect their flag, country always. We should not wait for any particular day but we should always respect our Nation.” The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
