In Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, a 3 day Terracotta Workshop was inaugurated

Jalandhar 8 August (Jaswinder Azad)- In Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, a 3 day Terracotta Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Rashmi Vij, Principal, Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar Cantt.  College organized a workshop of Sculpture and Hobby classes in the month of April 2016 for school students of the City and in this workshop, students of various renowned schools participated and learnt the art of shaping mud into beautiful sculptures. Their innovations were marked with excellence when further put into terracotta designs by the hard works of college professors Mr. Basudeb Biswas and Mr. Mohinder Kumar Mastana. In this exhibition, the artistic creations of the students were showcased.  Dr. Rashmi Vij highly appreciated the innovative steps of the College and said such workshops and exhibitions boost the creativeness of young buds and also guide them to choose a better career. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Sucharita expressed her gratitude to Dr. Rashmi Vij for her benign presence and said Apeejay is widely known to nurture talents and through this exhibition, talents of youngsters also get ignited and provide them a platform to exhibit it.
