CT Public School hosts District School Games organized by PSEB

More than 800 players under 16 zones participated in each category i.e. Under-14, Under-17, Under-19.
Jalandhar 7 September (Jaswinder Azad)- CT Public School got a golden opportunity to host Basketball, Kho-Kho and Volleyball matches for the District School Games organized by Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), concluded on Wednesday. The district tournament kicked off on 30th August in which more than 800 players under 16 zones participated in each category i.e. Under-14, Under-17, Under-19. Both boys and girls from all the three categories participated in these tournaments with great zeal and enthusiasm. The tournaments were organised for Basket Ball, Volley-Ball and Kho-Kho. In the eventful matches, a number of schools from Jalandhar participated like Police DAV, Innocent Hearts, Apeejay School (Rama Mandi), Mayor World, Doaba Senior Secondary School, CT Public School, MGN Public School. Mrs. Suman Rana (Principal, CT Public School) exhorted the students to partake in all games for their general well-being and wellness. She said, “It is proud moment for us that District Education Department has chosen our school premises to host such a prestigious event. The winning positions by the students have come up as an Icing on the cake. We always try to involve and encourage our students to participate more and more in sports activities to be physically and mentally fit.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the winners and performers in the tournament. He stressed on the importance of games and sports activities in our life. He also congratulated the students for their remarkable attempts. It was a successful and memorable event for the students.
