Jalandhar 7 September (Jaswinder Azad)- A fresher's party 'Jashan-E-Milan' was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen by PG Deptt. of Commerce and Management to welcome the new students of M.Com with open minds and open hearts. Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Incharge of the event told that the aim of 'Jashan-E-Milan' was to generate the feeling of fraternity among juniors and seniors. A colourful programme of bollywood dances, folk dances, games, singing, mimicry, and modelling were artistically presented. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the students and faculty members for successfully organizing the event. She encouraged the students to channelise their energy to achieve success and to work with hardwork, dedication and sincerity to create their unique identities in the world. On this occasion Ms. Upasana was crowned as Miss Fresher, Ms. Parneet was adjudged as Miss Talented and Miss Harmanpreet was adjudged as Miss Graceful. Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Dr. Seema Khanna, Prof. Shallu Batra, Prof. Pooja, Prof. Meenu Kundra, Prof. Kajal Puri, Prof. Yuvika, Dr. Minakshi Duggal and other staff members were also present on the occasion. On this event Prof. Meenu Kohli, Prof. Shikha Chhabra and Prof. Savita Mahendru graced the occasion as judges.
