Jalandhar 5 September (Jaswinder Azad)- KanyaMahaVidyalya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar celebrated Teachers’Day with great dedication, zeal and enthusiasm. Tributes were paid to SarvpalliDr. Radhakrishnan on this pious occasion. Madam Principal Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi paid respect to our founder father LalaDev Raj Ji. His statue was garlanded by the Principal, Teachers and Students as well. Students made beautiful cards and presented them to Principal Madam and teachers. The students whose cards were adjudged best were awarded. In the activity organized by the Dept. of Student Welfare and Student Council the students expressed their views for their teachers in the form of songs and poems. There they wrote wonderful messages for their teachers on flex specially to mark this occasion. Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the team of Dept. of Student Welfare & student council which comprised Dr. Madhumeet, Dear student welfare, Mrs. Rashmi, Dr. Neetu, Dr. Deepika and Ms.Gurleen blessing the students. Prof. Atima Sharma said that teachers have a great onus on their shoulders as they have the capacity to influence the life of the students. They can make the students by inculcating right values in them. Teachers are thus the richest of all as they have the wealth of the love and respect of the students whom they have made what they are in life.
