Phagwara 5 September (Jaswinder Azad)- In order to inculcate the aspiration of serving the society without any bias, NSS Youth Leadership Training Camp was organized by I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical university, Jalandhar at Mcleodgang, Dharamshala and Himachal Pradesh. In this camp 105Volunteers from 15 colleges participated and trained for mountain trekking and excursion. Volunteers are motivated to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity to promote humanity. In this camp 10 days camp, 15 NSS volunteersfrom Ramgarhia Institute of Engineering & Technology, Phagwara participated. Among 15 students, Salil Sharma of Mechanical Departmentwas chosen to be the best Camper. Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt, Director, Ramgarhia Educational Institutions and Dr Naveen Dhillon, Principal, RIET, Phagwara congratulated Er Lovedeep Singh Head of NSS Department and Salil Sharma of on his excellent efforts and performace during the camp. They also motivated the whole team of NSS Camp to perform better in the future and encouraged them to build up potential youth leaders by exploring the latent potential among the themselves with a view to involve them more intimately in development projects for longer periods.
