Jalandhar 6 September (Jaswinder Azad)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar where honoring time-tested traditions is a part of institutional culture. One such tradition is that flora and fauna are allowed to exist and prosper in natural surroundings and any drive to plant new saplings is warmly welcomed. This time KMV NCC unit in collaboration with 2Pb(G) BN NCC, Jalandhar planted approx. 50 tree saplings, as a tribute to all the teachers on 5th September, 2016. Vice Principal Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, other faculty members along with NCC cadets and NCC Incharge Lt. Ms. Seema Arora were behind the fruition of the event. Dr. Kamaljit Kaur observed that serving the noble cause of environmental protection, balance and beautification, this was an excellent way of paying a rich tribute to all teachers and also Dr. Radhakrishnan whose birthday is celebrated as teachers day.
