Jalandhar 6 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Aakarshit Bajaj of Class XI of Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town won Silver Medal in National and International Karate Championship and kept school flag high. Aakarshit Bajaj participated in Thailand Open Karate Do- Championship 2016 which was organised in Huamark Indoor Stadium Bangkok and he took coaching from Mr. Rafael who remained European Champion for 13 years and world champion for 4 years. He has also won Silver Medal in the competition in India Independence Cup organised at Talkotara Stadium where near about 2000 students participated. All India Seiko Kai Karate Championship was organised at Dharamshala where he also bagged silver medal under 66kg category. He started his journey when he was in STD. III. He gives credit to his Coach Mr. Harpreet for his success. He achieved orange belt in class VII and yellow belt in Class VIII. The Director Principal of the School - Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated him at his success and wished him good luck for his life.
